In exchange he’s cutting the nuts off of the “universal” part of background checks and then some. He’s asking for the destruction of Washington’s handgun registry, no check/registration required when selling to the following: family, anyone with a CPL or anyone that is a member of a firearms organization that requires a background check for membership.

The beauty is we have two outcomes – either a castrated and easily bypassed law with the destruction of the handgun registry passes or we’re not the bad guys since we came to the table seriously open the idea but it’s the libs that shot it down.

I don’t care what double-top-secret excuses — not to be shared with the likes of us — he claims to have. He just screwed every honest gunnie in the country for the sake of merely hoping he can get the WA registry killed. Whether or not the registry goes, his pro-background check precedent stands, and you can believe that the antis will not let us forget it.

I am not interested in “making progress.” That is the language of the Progressives. Whenever someone uses that word, I hammer away at this point: progress *from* what *to* what?

The only progress I am interested in is the systematic repeal of every single gun law on the books across this land, save one, the one that restricts the government from infringing on the right to keep and bear arms.

I make no apologies for that extremism. For I hold to the truth uttered by Barry Goldwater: “Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice, and moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue.”

Check out the headlines some day and you’ll see peaceable gun owners getting nabbed every day due to these inconsistent, unconstitutional, and immoral “laws”. Abide by them? Where called for. Respect them? Not a flippin’ chance. No way in *hell* do I want to make it easy for David Gregory. I advocate for prosecuting his elitist, hypocritical ass to the fullest extent of the law.

No compromise. I give no quarter to those who advocate for the next Holocaust, by way of first disarming the populace. They deserve only one thing. And that is to be absolutely crushed, politically.

With 300 million firearms in private hands (one-third of them pistols), the overwhelming majority of gun owners ARE responsible, law-abiding citizens, which is why these horrific massacres are not commonplace, but rather horrific outliers that can never be legislated away (e.g. DC, Chicago, and “Gun Free Zones”).
